AsiaWorld-Expo has stepped up its cleaning and sanitation procedures and taken other precautionary measures to guard against human swine influenza.

In support of the Clean Hong Kong Day on 10 May 2009 and In line with the venue’s standard operating procedure for dealing with health threats, a number of hygiene and health measures including increased cleaning and disinfecting of public areas, provision of adequate facilities and cleaning materials for hand-washing, and enhanced maintenance of indoor ventilation system among many others, have already been put in place to protect patrons attending events at AsiaWorld-Expo and to ensure that they can continue to enjoy shows in a safe and secure environment.

“We will continue to work closely with the Government and the industry in supporting all measures including the territory-wide Clean Hong Kong campaign to combat human swine influenza,” remarked Mr H W Lau, Chief Operating Officer, AsiaWorld-Expo Management Limited.
