The international show draws global equestrian elite to Hong Kong

Today is the grand opening of Longines Hong Kong Masters 2013 at AsiaWorld-Expo, the show is running from 28 February to 2 March 2013. This is the Asian leg of the Grand Slam, Hong Kong's first international show jumping event and the only five-star accredited competition on the equestrian calendar taking place in Asia. The world’s 25 best riders and horses will participate together with two local riders representing Hong Kong. 

AsiaWorld-Expo is honored to hold this prestigious indoor event. The whole area around 270,000 square feet has been transformed into an equestrian wonderland including stables, village and the centre piece. The centre piece is a competition arena flanked by 2,500 seats, while the other side is set for 700 VIP’s fine dining area to enjoy the two-star Michelin cuisine. Exclusive dining experience will be served at VIP area every night.

Longines Hong Kong Masters will combine an exhilarating sporting experience with a prestigious social event celebrating the essence of Hong Kong lifestyle and sophistication. Audiences are also free to explore the Prestige Village, a symbol of sophistication, where the biggest names from the worlds of equestrianism, fashion and luxury will be represented. This international event is well known in the world, is set to transform Hong Kong into the equestrian capital of Asia.
