Asia’s only five-star international indoor show jumping event, the Longines Hong Kong Masters (LHKM), returns for the third consecutive year to AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE), which will be held from 13 – 15 February at AWE. Across three days competition, 25 of the world’s elite riders and about 60 horses competing in 6 competitions including Hong Kong representative, Miss Raena LEUNG. There will be breathtaking shows by equestrian artist Santi Serra and dressage demonstration as well. During the competition, the world-class Michelin-starred gastronomy from renowned French Chef, Chef Yves Mattagne, is invited to the Master Club. Meanwhile, to facilitate collaboration in the local Tung Chung community, as well as to promote the concept of reducing the amount of food wastage, a group of ethnic minority children from the neighboring Tung Chung had been invited to join the event in partnership with Feeding Hong Kong. The kids cooking session was held in AWE at the LHKM’s Prestige Village. Eight kids became “Master Chefs” for the day and learned to make vegetarian food by using the ingredients sponsored by AWE.

About the Longines Hong Kong Masters The Longines Hong Kong Masters (LHKM) is Asia’s only five-star international indoor show jumping event. Key competitions include the Hong Kong Jockey Club Trophy, the spectacular Longines Speed Challenge together with the Hong Kong Jockey Club 130th Anniversary Race of the Riders, Gucci Gold Cup and the highly anticipated Longines Grand Prix. Hong Kong representative, Miss Raena LEUNG, is the second time representing Hong Kong to join the Longines Hong Kong Masters. She starts practicing equestrian since six years old. She has gained numerous awards and prizes, including the Team Showjumping 6th Place in Incheon Asian Games in 2014, the 1st Place CSN Havekost in Germany in 2013, and the 1st Place Overall in FEI World Cup Jumping China League. About Feeding Hong Kong Feeding Hong Kong is the first Hong Kong food bank dedicated to rescuing surplus nutritious food from retailers, distributors and manufacturers and redistributing it to people in need.
