Manager, Finance

• Lead the team on daily accounting and month-end closing process
• Perform and monitor general accounting duties and internal control matters
• Build, steer, and manage budget and forecast process
• Variance analysis and commentary to explain monthly results versus forecast / budget / prior year and provide early warning on deviations
• Support the process transformation, development of excel analytics and automation of reports
• Implement internal controls with the control owners in accordance with group’s policies and guidelines
• Perform any ad-hoc assignments as required

 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline
• Minimum 7-8 years of finance or accounting work experience with managerial experience preferred
• Qualified Accountant (e.g. HKICPA, ACCA, etc.)
• Exhibit exceptional management skills, going beyond assignment work to produce ideas and actions
• Strong business sense and problem-solving skills, ability to understand and analyse business performance
• Demonstrate critical and strategic thinking
• Excellent communication skills, proactive and possess drive for continual improvement
• Analytical mind, attention to details, ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and responsive to daily operational issues
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
