The year 2005 will see the opening of Hong Kong's newest and biggest exhibition and event venue - AsiaWorld-Expo. With one year to go, the countdown is on while construction work of AsiaWorld-Expo has been progressing at full steam ahead and well on schedule. "On behalf of everyone at AsiaWorld-Expo Management Limited, I would like to offer season's greetings to you and our sincere gratitude to the international and local event organising communities for their tremendous support of AsiaWorld-Expo. When it opens its door to the world in December 2005, AsiaWorld-Expo will set the stage for the world's event organising industry. We welcome you to visit AsiaWorld-Expo and join us to celebrate the opening of this new exciting venue in Hong Kong next year", said Nicolas Borit, Chief Executive Officer of AsiaWorld-Expo Management Limited. AsiaWorld-Expo also houses Hong Kong's biggest purpose-built, state-of-the-art Arena that can accommodate over 13,500 seats. AsiaWorld-Expo, which will be the host venue to stage a range of major international exhibitions scheduled for 2006 onwards, is located at the centre of an extensive and efficient air, land and marine transport network connecting Hong Kong with the Pearl River Delta and the world's business capitals. Upon arriving at the airport, business travellers can walk to AsiaWorld-Expo or take the airport transfer train for a 1-minute ride directly to AsiaWorld-Expo.
