Asia’s leading and foremost entertainment and events venue, AsiaWorld-Arena, is welcoming yet more of the world’s biggest names in music in the weeks ahead with highly-anticipated performances by Avril Lavigne, Justin Bieber, Maroon 5 and more.
A world-class stage for the best in music and entertainment, AsiaWorld-Arena has firmly established itself as an unparalleled venue. In recent months, it has hosted headline concerts by music megastars Eric Clapton and Faye Wong. Building on the sell-out success of these high-profile performances, AsiaWorld-Arena is once again proving that it has what it takes to attract globally-renowned talent while also offering a superb audience experience.
On 7 May, Queen of Pop Punk Avril Lavigne will return to AsiaWorld-Arena for the second time. On this occasion she’ll be wowing fans with her eagerly-awaited Black Star Tour.
Following hot on the heels of Avril’s landmark concert, teen heart-throb Justin Bieber will perform live at AsiaWorld-Arena on 13 May as part of his mammoth world tour. This is the first time that Justin has performed in Hong Kong, making it an opportunity that fans can’t afford to miss!
On 21 May, Maroon 5 will also perform in what promises to be a thrilling concert. This will also be the second time that this award-winning band of global hit-makers has performed at AsiaWorld-Arena.
“AsiaWorld-Arena has such a great reputation internationally, it’s the obvious choice for any performer coming to Hong Kong,” said Nigel Peters of Midas Promotions (HK) Ltd., a top event organiser which is bringing all three of the above-mentioned amazing concerts to Hong Kong. “The venue offers state-of-the-art facilities and a level of service that make organising any entertainment event a much simpler process. We’ve found that superstars and their crews have all been impressed with AsiaWorld-Arena and consider their visits to Hong Kong as one of the highlights of their Asian tours.”
Fans of Asia’s music stars are also in for a treat at the venue in May and June with two must-see concerts. On 28 May, the “Soul by Ludacris Asia Tour Music Party” will come to town with performances by acclaimed artists from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea, including Joey Yung, Se7en, Jam Hsiao, Stephanie Cheng, Sherman Chung, and Dream Girls.
On 26 June, AsiaWorld-Arena is also excited to welcome the arrival of top Japanese singer-songwriter YUI who will be making her Hong Kong debut – and her first-ever concert outside Japan! Fans can expect all their favourite YUI tracks, as well as her latest single, “HELLO, Paradise Kiss”.
Concert tickets (except tickets for “Soul by Ludacris Asia Tour Music Party”) can be purchased via HK ticketing and Tom Lee outlets, online at www.hkticketing.com or by calling (852) 31 288 288.
