AWE Organised Sharing Session and Site Visit to Inspire Students
In April this year, AWE collaborated with the SHTM Event Society Student Chapter (SHTMES) to arrange sharing session and site visit, allowing students to gain in-depth understanding of the venue's business development, operations, and facility management by studying real business case shared by different departments. Subsequently, nearly all participating students formed teams to join the "Business Case Competition", demonstrating enthusiastic response.
The "Business Case Competition" invited participating students to take on the role of the "Creative Team" at AWE, utilizing the venue resources to enhance the overall event experience for future real-life exhibitions or concerts, by applying their academic knowledge and site visit insights. AWE encouraged the students to explore in three main areas: cultural integration, technology adoption, and environmental sustainability, in alignment with market trends, and develop suitable proposals. The participating teams showcased outstanding innovative thinking, business strategies, and teamwork during the presentation. The champion team was rewarded with the opportunity to attend a popular Kpop concert at AWE.
